She is experienced in supporting people with emotional and mental wellbeing across curriculum and culture. Atma has a strong project management background and is also a qualified Yoga, Mindfulness and Sound Healing Practitioner. Atma is passionate about earth stewardship, global ethics and peace.
Owner of Old Wood Organic Farm, Ben has been involved in environmental action and conservation for many years. Inspired by English horticulturalist Charles Dowding, Ben created a No-Dig market garden in the woodland that provides fresh organic produce for the local community. Ben is also a natural artist collaborating on projects for creative and cultural learning experiences.
Abi has developed, over several years of academic researching, excellent analysis skills. Abi is passionate about the vital importance of nurturing physical, mental, and emotional well-being and understanding the wider positive impact this can have on individuals, families and communities.
With over a decade working within the education system, Beth is passionate about working hand in hand with education providers focusing on the social and emotional aspects of learning. Beth is is a firm believer in the power of nature to be therapeutic for everyone and the importance of encouraging self-development through positive experience and a nurturing environment.
Laura is an experienced social researcher and qualified teacher in lifelong learning. Passionate about community-based projects and participatory focused activities, she has worked with those who may experience marginalisation and social exclusion, as well as in work concerning mental health.
Sam has worked with Old Wood Organic since the beginning with a range of responsibilities including; no dig gardening, delivery and maintenance of Salad production and working with wood. Sam has personally experienced how engaging with the natural world can positively effect mental and physical well being.
